Meet Kristin Shea, CPA

Kristin Shea is a CPA and
QuickBooks Online Advanced Certified ProAdvisor®
with 15 years of "Big 4" accounting firm experience,
and 12+ years helping small business owners to succeed

Kristin Shea is a CPA certified in the State of Georgia, who has owned three diverse small businesses to date. She started K Shea CPA, LLC to help small business owners, after spending 15 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), a "Big 4" public accounting firm, helping large businesses.

Kristin is a QuickBooks Online Advanced Certified ProAdvisor®, and has been assisting small business clients since 2001. During her time at PwC, Kristin spent many years working in the London office. She gained experience in international taxation, mergers and acquisitions, human resources, and training. She worked hard (and played hard!) with colleagues from many different countries and cultures, and instructed US tax courses in locales such as Prague, Bucharest and Moscow.

Kristin chose to put down roots, first in the Washington DC area, and now in Bishop, GA, and started K Shea CPA formally in 2008. The firm embraced the new "virtual" world long before that idea became mainstream, and therefore has expanded its services well beyond the physical reaches of Georgia.

Kristin gained significant experience with e-commerce clients as online buying became more common, and quickly became known for her specialized knowledge of e-commerce and the accounting, sales tax, and income tax requirements for the industry. When added to existing specializations with non-US-based clients, and service-based businesses, Kristin is able to provide deep knowledge in her specialized niche.

Kristin lives in Bishop, GA with her husband, Tom, two children, and their silky and fainting goats. They enjoy watching soccer, playing pickleball (Tom is a certified instructor!), and attending sporting events at the University of Georgia. Kristin loves watching movies, doing yoga, and jigsaw puzzles. She hopes to dispel the stereotype that all accountants are boring - even if she does do jigsaw puzzles!
